We embrace equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects including individual differences and open-mindedness. | Group | Marketing and Communications | Job title | Senior Officer / Officer | Job brief/purpose | Assist the China Marketing and Communications Manager to implement marketing strategy to align with the business strategy and effectively deliver key messages and leverage available channel to drive Arup’s brand awareness.
Work with key stakeholders, business units and regional communications team to develop, manage and execute various branding events to drive business growth and brand exposure. Implement the strategic publicity and media plan to enhance Arup’s brand influence. Draft press release, pitch media interview, conduct media briefing events and maintain good relationship with media. Drive social media campaign to expand audience scope and increase audience size. Work in close collaboration with chambers, academic groups and industry associations to seek speaking/participating opportunities for Arup’s spokesperson in impactful forums and seminars etc., to shape our brand image as industry thought leader. Conduct market research and analyse competitive activity and trend in markets. Collect, compile and draft promotional contents to contribute to internal newsletter, projects brochure or leaflet, social media and various marketing materials. Liaise with regional communications team on graphic, visual, corporate premiums demand.
| Relationships | Report to China Marketing and Communications Manager | Candidate Requirement (e.g. qualification, experience, etc) | At least bachelor’s degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Economics, or business-related discipline. At least 8 years of professional experience, with a deep understanding of all aspects of branding, marketing and PR strategy. Thrives in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, extrovert personality, be willing to and good at socializing. Track record of both events planning and executing experience; strong management capability on vendors and third parties. Solid connection/relationship with media and pitch skills to increase media coverage. Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in writing, in both English and Chinese. Ability to lead effectively through relationships, persuasion and influence. Sense of deep responsibility for the job accomplishment and organization’s success. Experience in construction/engineering/property/urban development industry will be an advantage. Graphic design capability will be an advantage.
