Established in 1996, BritCham Guangdong is one of the most active and influential chambers in the Greater Bay Area. The Chamber helps over 200 member companies from succeed in the South China market. Our membership network is comprised of companies operating in a wide range of sectors and industries, including education and training, hospitality, real estate, business consultancy and so on. Our membership programme helps companies to network with the experienced, develop strategies for expansion and gain market access. Superior: Marketing & Communications Manager Location: IFC, Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou Allowance: 1,000 RMB/month Working Hours: 09:30-18:30, 4 working days/week for 6 months at least Commencing Date: As soon as possible The Role of this position£º The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong (BCC) is seeking a Marketing Intern to begin work at Guangzhou office as soon as possible. The Marketing Intern shall be primarily responsible for the events promotion, execution and designing materials of the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong (BCC), with a focus on the BritCham Guangdong Branding. Reporting to the BCC's Marketing and Communications Manager, the intern¡¯s duties shall include the following: 1. Manage BritCham¡¯s marketing channels (WeChat, LinkedIn, Weibo, emails, Instagram) to help boost event attendee number and promote BritCham¡¯s brand; 2. Assist with design marketing materials include but not limited to event flyer, website layout, WeChat layout, email signature block, brochure, sponsorship package and event on-site promotion materials; 3. Assist with marketing campaigns like vlog editing, podcasts editing, newsletter and annual video review; 4. Assist Events Manager for all event execution; 5. Prepare event report and media release; 6. Update membership database in CRM system; 7. Research UK companies in Guangdong; 8. Support the Guangzhou and Shenzhen team when required.
The Successful Candidate The successful candidate should ideally possess the following:
Essential 1. Have good written English and good oral English; 2. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; 3. Good at design and have a good sense of aesthetics; 4. Be self-motivated, sociable, be able to work independently and possess the confidence to deal with businessmen; 5. Be well organised and systematic, and be willing to share a workload that does not fall directly under their job description.
Preferred 1. Have good knowledge of poster design (like Canva), Wechat official account management, video editing, podcast editing; 2. Bring his/her own laptop.
